Sales Tax Exemption

Any order placed with us may be subject to sales tax. 

If you qualify for tax exemption, you must provide a valid sales tax exemption certificate or other acceptable documentation required by the tax authority of the state in which you are claiming exemption. We are normally able to review requests for tax-exempt status within 24-48 business hours.

If you are tax exempt follow the below easy steps to get approval on your sales tax exemption with Scented Flame Candle Supply.

1) Set up a Customer Account.

2) Send an email to customerservice@scentedflame.com with:
- Your tax exempt information (state resale exemption form and/or state exemption forms pertaining to your organization type)
- The e-mail address and username used on your profile registration
- Your first and last name, company name and phone number

3) Upon approval, we will retain the completed form in our offices and apply tax-exempt status to your account. All future orders using that login will be treated as tax-exempt until you request otherwise in writing.

Need help finding your status? You can find your tax-exempt status by logging in to your account and going to the checkout page (with item(s) in your cart. Simply look at the bottom right of the screen to see if sales tax is being added to your order.

Reminders if you change your company information:

If you change the name (or company name) on your account, you are required to download and complete a new form with the updated information and return it to us so we may update our records.

If there are any changes to your tax exemption (i.e. owner name, company name, etc.) we will need a new form sent to us for our records.
